Detachable joining link or detachable joining shackle(anchor chain) is used to connect the front and rear anchor chains. The connecting link is a detachable link, as shown in Figure 3. There are two forms: one is the joining link Kenter type, also known as double half type or Kenter shackle (KS), with a diameter of D, a length of 6D and a width of 4.2d. It is a link specified in Chinese specifications and national standards; The other is C-type (joining link C-type, also known as scattered type). Because the diameter of the connecting link is the same as that of the ordinary link, it can be directly connected with the ordinary link. During the assembly of the connecting link, clean all parts, apply butter to prevent rust, connect the anchor chains on both sides and assemble them, insert the taper pin into the pin hole, punch and fix it with the anchor chain, and seal the hole at the pin tail with lead plug.

Joining shackle (JS) is a detachable D-shaped shackle(anchor chain). In order to ensure the connection strength, the diameter of the connecting shackle is increased to 1.3d, then both sides of the shackle are connected with the end link according to the pin order, the enlarged link, and then the ordinary link is connected to ensure the smooth transition of the size, as shown in Figure 4. The end shackle is directly connected with the anchor shackle at the front end of the anchor chain, with a diameter of 1.4d.

The transverse pin of each D-shaped shackle(anchor chain) in the anchor chain is generally an approximate elliptic cylinder without thread, as shown in Figure 4. The transverse pin is fixed with a conical pin perpendicular to the shackle plane, and the pin mouth is sealed with lead block.(anchor chain)
