The classification of the anchor chain(2)

At present, electric welding anchor chain(anchor chain) has been widely used in merchant ships. Almost all anchor chains are manufactured by flash welding, and cast anchor chains are rarely used. Except that the anchor chain accessories are mostly forged parts, the forged anchor chain has been basically eliminated.

The steel grade of anchor chain used for the production of stalled anchor chain is M1, M2 and M3, and the cast steel anchor chain is m2 and M3. Add a (such as AM2) before the corresponding code to indicate that there is a gear chain, and B indicates that there is no gear chain (there are two levels of Bm1 and BM2). The higher the steel grade, the greater the tensile strength. Grade AM1 anchor chain steel is killed steel, and grade AM2 and AM3 anchor chain steel is fully ballasted fine grain treated steel. For the same ship, if the steel with high strength is selected, the chain link size can be appropriately reduced.
