Die maximal zulässige Temperatur (TS) von 120°C berücksichtigt, dass die Ventile und Messgeräte vor der Erwärmung durch heiße Medien geschützt werden müssen. Dies ist mithilfe von Wassersackrohren oder von ausreichend langen Impulsleitungen möglich. Ventile von AS-Schneider können jedoch bei Temperaturen bis 300°C eingesetzt werden (PTFE bis 232°C, Graphit bis 300°C).
